PRIMEPRO-D is a specialized biological seed and seed trench inoculant tailored for dicot plants, particularly legumes. This unique formula not only incorporates beneficial bacteria but also includes free-living nitrogen fixing bacteria and a variety of mycorrhizal fungi. Together, these microorganisms establish a harmonious symbiotic relationship with each other and with the plant, leading to a range of advantageous effects such as improved nutrient absorption, heightened drought resistance, and enhanced protection against pathogenic threats.

The establishment of a symbiotic relationship between bacteria and root nodules plays a crucial role in plant growth and the synthesis of chlorophyll. Within this symbiosis, specific bacterial genes known as nodulation genes encode factors that contribute to the formation of root nodules. Molecular communication between the rhizobial bacteria and the host dicot plant is facilitated by signal molecules that activate the expression of genes essential for the symbiotic pathway.

The host legume plant releases a class of compounds called flavonoids from its roots.
